Nicholas Sciortino is an IT professional specializing in software engineering and artificial intelligence. Currently completing a degree in Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence at the San Raffaele University of Rome, he combines a solid technical foundation with extensive experience in system architecture and web development.
Since 2013, he has worked as an IT consultant, systems administrator, and web developer for institutions, companies, and foundations (including the Central Tyrrhenian Sea Port Authority), managing server infrastructures, cybersecurity, and digital solutions. He co-founded the LATI project, a technology business incubator for schools funded by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR). Alongside his professional work, he serves as a lecturer in IT Security, IoT, Distributed Systems, and Artificial Intelligence at ITS foundations and other educational institutions.
Within the current research project, he provides IT and infrastructural support. By integrating advanced skills in programming, database management, system administration, and AI-driven automation, he optimizes technical workflows and ensures the security and efficiency of the digital environments supporting the research.
