Rosa Fragorapti is a musician and musicologist (MA, University of Pavia) from Thessaloniki, Greece. Since 2007, she has dedicated her research and performance practice to the ancient Greek seven-string chelys lyre, developing a specialised technique for the instrument. In 2021, she was awarded the first diploma in ancient Greek lyre worldwide. She led the Euterpe School of ArcheoMusic in Tarquinia in 2023 and 2024, collaborating with musicians, musicologists, and researchers specialising in Ancient Greek music.

Rooted in historically informed performance, her practice bridges ancient musical traditions with contemporary expression, and she presents her work internationally at festivals, museums, archaeological sites, and academic institutions, as well as contributing to major soundtrack projects such as Diablo IV and Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey.
